AAUW is passionate about helping students to achieve educational and professional goals. There are abundant national leadership development resources including the Student Advisory Council, the Campus Action Project grant program, and the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, an annual leadership training conference in Washington, D.C. that attracts more than 500 students. Additionally, our local branches create thousands of learning experiences each year.
AAUW student affiliates can be part of a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. We are a strong voice advocating for equity in education and civil rights issues.
AAUW student affiliates receive exceptional tangible and intangible benefits — development opportunities, a vibrant community, relevant information, and valuable resources. E-student affiliation status is FREE to all undergraduate students attending an AAUW college/university partner member institution.
